Rustburg varsity boys’ soccer didn’t let its first loss of the season, a 2-0 home heartbreaker against JF, ruin its season. The team returned to its winning ways by getting past the Minutemen in a 3-2 win on Wednesday in Bedford.

The Red Devils stand at 6-1-1, 5-1-1 going into spring break. They return to the pitch next Monday at LCA. The Reds picked up their first-ever program win over the Bulldogs when they competed at the beginning of the season. In a busy week, they also host Amherst County on Tuesday and visit E.C. Glass at city stadium on Friday.
