Owen M. Doll, age 23, of Monticello, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Born on January 14, 2003, at Jackson County Hospital, he was the son of Michelle Doll.
He was raised in the Wyoming area, where he spent his childhood and teenage years surrounded by family, friends, and the rural community he grew to love deeply.
Owen later graduated from Midland High School, carrying with him the values of hard work, loyalty, and respect that would define the way he lived his life.
From a young age, Owen developed a strong appreciation for the outdoors and the simple things in life. Hunting, fishing, and farming were more than hobbies to him; they were a way of life.
He enjoyed spending time outside, where he felt most at peace, whether working with equipment, helping around the farm, or just being with friends in familiar places.
He also had a strong interest in vehicles, especially working on his truck, often dedicating his time and energy to learning how things worked and improving them with care and patience.
Owen was known by those close to him as a hardworking young man with a steady and dependable nature. He carried a laid-back personality that made others feel comfortable around him.
At the same time, he had a strong sense of responsibility and could always be counted on when someone needed help. His presence left a lasting impression on those who knew him, not because he sought attention, but because of his quiet reliability and genuine heart.
In addition to his personal interests, Owen proudly served his country as a member of the Iowa National Guard.
His service reflected his commitment to something greater than himself and showed the strength of his character and dedication. This part of his life stood as a source of pride for him and for those who knew and supported him.
Owen is survived by his fiancée, Lindsey Pineschi; his mother, Michelle Doll, and her partner, Uwe Sauer; and his brothers Samuel, Spencer, and Benjamin.
He is also survived by his grandparents Joyce and Thomas Doll, his uncle Scott Doll, his wife Kelly, and his aunts Kristina Doll and Delaina Snyder with her husband Chad.
