A 34-year-old Fabens man was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old near Fabens Veterans Park.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to a report of sexual assault in the 600 block of NE Davis Street. The victim described the suspect, leading deputies to locate and arrest Ricardo Morales near the area.
Jail records show Morales was charged with indecency with a child by sexual contact (fondling), public intoxication, and parole violation.
As of Monday afternoon, he remains in the El Paso County Downtown Jail with a combined bond set at $30,500.
