Wright County Sheriff Reports 39 Arrests in Weeklong Crackdown on Drugs, Assault, and DWIs

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office has released its latest weekly arrest and incident report, detailing 39 arrests for offenses ranging from controlled substance violations to domestic abuse order breaches.

Several suspects—including Hannah Marie Holland, Christopher Joseph Lemke, and Melissa Lee Allen—were booked on 5th-degree controlled substance charges, reflecting a continued rise in drug-related activity across the county.

Assault cases also appeared in the report. Tyler Zachery Beauto was arrested on a warrant connected to harassment of a judicial officer or juror, while Victor Sasha Cantu was taken into custody on charges of 4th-degree assault and obstructing the legal process.

DWIs remain a significant public safety concern. Among those arrested were Brandon Michael Fitzpatrick for 3rd-degree DWI test refusal and Juan Antonio Luna Lara for 4th-degree DWI. The Sheriff’s Office reported additional roadway incidents over the same period, including 23 property damage crashes, 6 personal injury crashes, 6 hit-and-run incidents, and 19 car–deer collisions.

Other notable arrests included Dimitri John Clark, a convicted felon charged with possessing a firearm or ammunition, and Cody Thomas Cuper, who was arrested on a warrant for allegedly soliciting a child to engage in sexual conduct. Theft-related warrants were also executed for Tauheedah Ishan Karim and Javontae Deshawn Simms.

The Sheriff’s Office said deputies issued 140 traffic violation tickets alongside 16 new DWI arrests during the week, underscoring a continued emphasis on roadway safety and enforcement.

Officials emphasized that the operation reflects the county’s commitment to tackling drug crimes, violent offenses, and impaired driving to maintain public safety.
