A police chase involving two vehicles that began in Norwood early Saturday morning and spanned several communities, including Foxboro, ended in crashes that left multiple juveniles injured. All seven teens involved are under the age of 16.
According to Norwood Police Chief Christopher Padden, the incident started around 1:50 a.m. when a Norwood officer conducting stationary traffic enforcement on Route 1 North near Dean Street observed two vehicles leaving a Mobil gas station. The cars illegally pulled into the southbound lane and executed a U-turn at Dean Street to head northbound, prompting the pursuit.
The chase continued through multiple towns before both vehicles eventually crashed, resulting in injuries to several juveniles. Police confirmed all involved teens were taken into custody and are facing charges related to the chase.
