Police in Fayetteville responded to a deadly motor vehicle crash late Monday night, February 23, 2026.
At approximately 10:44 p.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department arrived at the scene on the All-American Freeway, between Cliffdale Road and Morganton Road, heading toward Fort Bragg.
When officers reached the location, they found two vehicles with extensive front-end damage. Emergency responders pronounced one individual dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity and are withholding the name until they notify the next of kin.
