Christopher “Chris” Lee Miller, 50, of Tiffin, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 23, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones, after a courageous year-long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Known for his infectious personality, Chris left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him, never meeting a stranger he didn’t like or a party he couldn’t light up.
Chris lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with enthusiasm. He was a devoted friend, a loyal and protective brother, and a compassionate soul always willing to lend a hand.
His love for life extended to cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Detroit Red Wings, but above all, he cherished the time spent with family and friends, creating memories filled with laughter and joy.
Born on August 7, 1975, in Tiffin, Ohio, Chris was the son of John Miller and Jane (Feasel) Coleman. He graduated in 1994 from Columbian High School and Sentinel, eventually building a career as a skilled welder and fabricator across several factories over the years.
Chris is survived by his mother, Jane Coleman of Tiffin; his sister, Lisa (Jeff) Kuelling of Lakeside-Marblehead; stepsister, Candi (Jamie) Ludwig of Tiffin; stepbrother, Eric (Beth) Coleman of Van Buren; and several nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Miller; stepfather, Charles (Steve) Coleman; and nephew, Cole Ludwig.
A celebration of Chris’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to turn up their favorite song, raise a toast to a life lived on his own terms, and share a memorable story about him.
Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family in arrangements.
