A four-vehicle crash caused traffic delays Monday evening in the Orange Grove area of Gulfport.

The accident happened on Dedeaux Road near Three Rivers Road around 6:35 p.m., according to Gulfport resident Kealvin Barnett, who was live at the scene.

The crash involved four vehicles, though it may have originally involved five, as one vehicle reportedly left the scene.

Drivers were urged to avoid Dedeaux Road for approximately 20 to 30 minutes following the crash and to expect delays in the area.

Motorists were also encouraged to drive carefully and give emergency crews space to work as they responded to the scene.

At this time, there has been no official word regarding injuries or the cause of the accident.

In the comment section, several people expressed frustration about the intersection and driving conditions in the area.
