In addition, she had plans to serve as a Leader in Training during the summer, an opportunity that reflected her desire to grow as a leader and continue supporting younger children in her community.
The news of her passing has been officially acknowledged by Morgan Hill Unified School District, which shared that Kailey died following a pre-existing medical condition.
