A fatal motorcycle crash in Tazewell County has claimed the life of a 62-year-old Armington man, according to local authorities.
Jeffrey Foster was killed Saturday evening after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a pickup truck near Mackinaw. Emergency personnel responded to the crash at the intersection of Illinois Route 9 and Leopold Street shortly after 6:15 p.m.
The Tazewell County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Foster was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said he was the sole occupant and operator of the motorcycle at the time of the collision.
