Dominic Bellissemo Arrested After Green Township Police Child Exploitation Investigation

A former coach at Ursuline Academy in Cincinnati is facing multiple felony charges following a child pornography investigation that has drawn attention from local law enforcement and the school community.

Dominic Bellissemo, age 31, was arrested by Green Township police and charged with several counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving minors.

According to investigators, the case began after authorities were alerted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Acting on that information, detectives from Green Township Police and the Regional Electronics and Computer Investigation Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Sunburst Ridge Lane.

During the investigation, officers recovered electronic devices that are now being analyzed as part of an ongoing review.

Police said that when Bellissemo was confronted during the investigation, he admitted to possessing illegal images. Authorities believe the case may involve hundreds of files, though they emphasized that forensic work is still underway to determine the full extent of the material.

Investigators also noted that additional charges may be filed as they continue examining digital evidence. At this stage, officials say they have not identified any local victims connected to the case.

Bellissemo’s connection to Ursuline Academy was confirmed by both law enforcement and school officials.

The school stated that he had served as a coach for athletic programs, including lacrosse and soccer. Following his arrest, the school said it immediately terminated his employment.

In a public statement, Ursuline Academy stressed that it has strict safety protocols, including background checks, fingerprinting, and ongoing training for staff.

The school also stated that there is no indication that the alleged conduct involved students, occurred on campus, or affected the school community.

The school community has reacted with concern as details of the investigation continue to emerge. Officials emphasized that the case remains active, and Bellissemo is expected to be arraigned in court.

Law enforcement agencies continue to work together to review electronic evidence and determine whether further criminal charges are appropriate.

Authorities have encouraged anyone with relevant information to come forward as the investigation proceeds.

Cases involving alleged exploitation of minors often prompt coordinated responses from multiple agencies, and investigators in Green Township say this matter is no exception.

Authorities reiterated that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

They also noted that the investigation remains ongoing and may take time as digital evidence is processed and verified.
