Dominic Joseph Farago, 22, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, leaving behind a grieving family, a devoted circle of friends, and a community that will long remember his kindness, energy, and determination.
Born on December 20, 2003, in Cleveland, Dominic was the beloved son of Joseph and Maria Farago.
From an early age, he was known for his warm personality, strong values, and deep love for those around him. He grew up alongside his brothers, Vincent and Marco, sharing a close bond that remained a constant throughout his life.
Dominic’s family was at the center of everything he did. He is survived by his parents, his brothers, and his grandparents, Sharan Farago, Joe Farago and his wife Karen, and Sharon Weitzman and her husband Skip.
He also leaves behind a large extended family, including his aunts and uncles, Gina Farago, Joelle Farago, and Charlie Brunello, and his wife, Sandy. He was a proud cousin to Mariah Brunello, Alyssa Miller and her husband, Brandon, and Anthony Brunello.
Dominic also cherished his role as a godfather to JB, a responsibility he embraced with pride and love. In addition, he was a nephew, cousin, and friend to many whose lives were enriched by his presence.
He shared a special and loving relationship with his girlfriend, Hannah, who stood by his side and brought him great happiness.
Dominic was a standout student and athlete during his time at North Ridgeville High School. He excelled in football, basketball, and track, earning respect not only for his athletic ability but also for his sportsmanship and leadership.
Whether on the field, the court, or the track, he gave his best effort and inspired those around him. His commitment to excellence extended beyond athletics, as he graduated with honors, reflecting his dedication to his studies.
Following high school, Dominic continued his education at Kent State University, where he pursued a degree in Business and Entrepreneurial Marketing.
He was driven by ambition and a desire to build a meaningful future. Those who knew him often spoke of his work ethic and his willingness to help others succeed alongside him.
Above all, Dominic will be remembered for his selflessness and the genuine care he showed to others. He had a way of making people feel valued and supported, always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. His love for his family was unwavering, and he made it a priority to stay connected with those he cared about.
Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of Dominic at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road in North Ridgeville, on Thursday, April 9, from 4 to 8 PM.
A private prayer service will be held for the family on Friday morning. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 10, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road in North Ridgeville, beginning at 10 AM.
Those attending are asked to meet at the church. The service will be officiated by Father Bob Franco.
Dominic’s life, though far too short, was filled with purpose, love, and connection. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
