Louisville authorities are searching for a missing man who was last seen near the Big Four Bridge earlier this week.
The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) has issued an Operation Return Home alert for 34-year-old Elijah Foster-Dienes, who was last seen around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, leaving the Big Four Bridge on the Indiana side.
Police say his family has growing concerns for his safety, particularly because he has medical issues that require attention.

Foster-Dienes is described as a white male, 34 years old, approximately 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds.
He has hazel eyes and brown hair. Authorities say he was last seen in the area of the Big Four Bridge, exiting toward Indiana, and a photo taken on the bridge shows the clothing he was wearing at the time he was last seen.
Investigators are working to determine his whereabouts and are asking the public to remain alert.
Officials stress that the missing person has medical conditions that need to be addressed, increasing the urgency of the search.
The Louisville Metro Police Department is asking anyone who may have seen Foster-Dienes or has information about his location to contact LMPD immediately at 574-LMPD (5673).
Police hope community assistance will help ensure his safe return.
