Gloversville, New York Mourns the Passing of 13-Year-Old Chayse Renyak Remembered for His Kind Heart

Chase Reynak obituary

Chayse Renyak, a young boy whose life touched many with quiet warmth and gentle kindness, passed away on April 9, 2026, at the age of 13.

Born on July 17, 2012, in Gloversville, New York, Chayse’s time was brief, yet the impact he made on his family and those around him will be remembered with lasting affection and gratitude.

He was the beloved son of Judith “Judy” Renyak, who survives him, and the late Joseph Renyak. Within his family, Chayse held a special place as a caring son, a devoted brother, and a cherished grandson.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, his brother Cody, his maternal grandmother Mae White, and his paternal grandfather Robert Renyak.

He also leaves behind a circle of extended family who cared deeply for him, including his aunts Sheryl Loveless and Elisa White, his uncles Richard Loveless and David Renyak, and his cousins Tyler, Andrew, Anthony White, and Adam Loveless.

Those who knew Chayse often spoke of his gentle spirit and the quiet way he showed love and friendship. Though naturally shy, he had a warm and thoughtful nature that drew people close.

He had an ability to make others feel included and valued, often putting his friends before himself. His kindness was not loud or showy, but steady and sincere, leaving a meaningful impression on everyone he met.

Chayse found joy in simple, everyday moments. He loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing, where he could relax and take in the calm beauty of nature.

These moments brought him a sense of peace and happiness. He also enjoyed cooking, particularly grilling, and took pride in learning and exploring new things.

His curiosity about the world was evident in the way he approached life, always eager to discover and experience more.

Alongside his gentle side, Chayse had a playful sense of humor that brightened his home. He enjoyed joking with family members and pulling lighthearted pranks, always in good spirit.

His laughter and the smiles he brought to others will be deeply missed. He had a way of lifting the mood in a room without even trying, simply by being himself.

Chayse’s life, though short, was filled with love, connection, and moments that his family will hold close forever. His memory lives on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the quiet kindness he gave so freely.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at A.G. Cole Funeral Home in Johnstown, New York.

A service will follow immediately afterward at the same location. These moments of remembrance will offer an opportunity for those who knew and loved Chayse to come together, reflect, and honor a life that, while brief, was deeply meaningful.

As those closest to him grieve this loss, they also celebrate the love Chayse brought into their lives. His presence will be missed, but his spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
