The Mankato Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest connected to a shooting earlier this week. According to the City of Mankato’s official report, multiple gunshots were fired into a home on the 500 block of North 4th Street around 8:25 p.m. on November 10. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Investigators have released surveillance footage of an individual believed to be linked to the incident. Police are urging residents—particularly those living near Washington Park—to review their private security systems, including doorbell and external cameras, for any suspicious activity from that evening.

The Mankato Department of Public Safety emphasized the importance of community involvement in solving crimes, thanking residents for their continued cooperation. The investigation remains active as authorities work to gather additional leads.

Officials are urging anyone with information to come forward. “If you see this individual or anything that appears suspicious,” residents should immediately call 911 or contact the Mankato Department of Public Safety at 507-387-8725, according to the city’s announcement.

Community tips may play a crucial role in helping investigators resolve the case and prevent future incidents.
