Three people were arrested after the Henry County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on a wanted man Monday evening.
Deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant at a home in the 600 block of Longview Dr. in Bassett on November 12, 2025. Although deputies could hear people inside, no one answered the door, according to the sheriff’s office.
After repeated unsuccessful attempts to make contact, deputies obtained a search warrant and called in the SWAT team for assistance.
After three hours, one person exited the home. Deputies then entered, searched the residence and arrested three individuals, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Charges
39-year-old Derrick Lyn Phillippe was charged with:

Obstructing Justice (Henry County)

First Offender Violation (Franklin County)

Probation Violation (Franklin County)

Sell, Distribute Schedule III drugs (3 counts, Franklin County)
Deputies said Phillippe was found hiding inside a footlocker with household items stacked on top to conceal him.
38-year-old Levi Enoch Dunmire was charged with:

Probation Violation (4 counts)
37-year-old Sarah Burnette Foster was charged with:

Obstructing Justice
All three are being held without bond, except Foster, whose bond was set at $2,000, deputies said.
Sheriff Wayne Davis praised his team’s actions, stating:
“Our deputies and SWAT personnel displayed professionalism and patience throughout this incident. Their methodical approach ensured that the situation was resolved safely and without injury to anyone involved. I’m proud of their teamwork and dedication to protecting our community.”
