Plymouth Police officers responded to a residence on Nov. 28 around 2:32 p.m. for a report involving Aaron Brown, a 47-year-old man who had reportedly been bedridden for about two hours.
Aaron lived with his sister, Linda Brown, who served as his legal guardian. He has developmental disabilities that require him to have a guardian.
During the investigation, officers determined Aaron had been confined to bed since September without receiving any medical care. He was immediately transported for treatment and remains hospitalized.
Indiana Adult Protective Services was also notified.
Linda Brown was arrested on a charge of neglect of a dependent.
