After Monday night, Brookneal remains undefeated beating Madison Heights 6-4. The stands were packed and the kids come ready to play ball. Their opponent had shut out every team they had played UNTIL Monday. Brookneal got a run across the plate in the first inning to snap Madison Heights shutout streak.

Madison Heights then took the lead 2-1 but that was before Brookneal fought back to reclaim the lead 3-2. After a couple of innings of a defensive battle, Brookneal added some insurance runs to make the score 6-2 and held off Madison Heights in the final inning as they were battling back. Brookneal is now set to play Prince George on Tuesday at 8 p.m. A win puts them in the State Championship Game.
