Ella Langley is an American country music singer and songwriter who gained popularity for blending traditional Southern country storytelling with modern music production.
She became widely known after releasing songs such as You Look Like You Love Me and Choosin’ Texas, which helped establish her presence in the contemporary country music scene.
Langley was born on May 3, 1999, in Hope Hull, Alabama. She grew up in a rural Southern environment near Montgomery, where church music, outdoor activities, and family traditions influenced her artistic development. Her music often reflects independence, confidence, and small-town life experiences.

Her debut album Hungover, released in 2024, marked her professional breakthrough and introduced her as one of the rising modern voices in country music.
Langley is the second child among four siblings in the Langley family.
Her older brother, Thomas Langley, was born in 1991. He played high school football at Hooper Academy in Hope Hull, Alabama, as an offensive and defensive lineman. His participation in varsity football helped build the family’s sports tradition.
Her younger brother, Stuart Langley, was born in 2001. Stuart also pursued football, playing tackle and defensive end positions during his high school athletic career. He wore jersey number 50 in several competitions and contributed to the team’s defensive strategies.
The youngest sibling, Katie Langley, was born in 2007. Unlike her brothers, Katie chose basketball and participated in Hooper Academy’s girls’ varsity basketball program during her high school years.
Katie is currently pursuing her education at Ella’s alma mater, Auburn University.
Langley has said growing up between two brothers influenced her personality. She described herself as a tomboy during childhood because she tried to keep up with her siblings’ physical activities and competitive sports environment.
Unlike Ella, her three siblings prefer to maintain a low profile and haven’t shared much about their professional journey. However, Ella often shares pictures of them on social media expressing her love and pride for them,
Langley’s father, Jason Langley, and mother Heather Langley, supported her musical ambitions from a young age.
The family maintained a lifestyle that mixed outdoor recreation, church music, and rural community culture. Her grandparents also influenced her musical interests by introducing her to piano and multi-genre music during childhood.
When Langley decided to move to Nashville in 2019 to pursue music professionally, her parents supported the decision and encouraged her to view the move as another form of education.
