Devin Miles Cooper, 21, of Ankeny, Iowa, passed away on April 13, 2026, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
His passing has left his family, friends, teammates, and community deeply saddened as they remember a young man who made a lasting impression through both his character and his commitment to the sport he loved.
Devin was a member of the Ankeny Hawks Shooting Sports team and was part of the Class of 2022. Over the course of five years with the program, he took part in multiple shooting disciplines and established himself as a dedicated and reliable teammate.
