Christy A. Bradshaw, of Fairfield, Illinois, passed away on the morning of April 24, 2026, at her residence at the age of 60.
Christy was born on October 23, 1965, in Union County, Illinois, to Robert and Jacquelin Bradshaw. From an early age, she was known by those around her for her warm presence and gentle spirit.
She spent much of her life connected to her community in Fairfield, where she participated in the activity program at the Career Development Center.
Through this program, Christy was able to engage in daily activities, build relationships, and share her bright personality with staff and peers who cared for her deeply.
Throughout her life, Christy was supported by dedicated caregivers and community members. She was under the care of a guardian and lived among the residents and staff at Kinsale House in Fairfield.
Those who spent time with Christy often remembered her kindness and the simple joy she brought to everyday moments.
Even when she was unable to communicate verbally, people who knew her well understood her expressions, gestures, and the comfort she gave just by being present.

Arrangements for Christy have been entrusted to Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield. In accordance with the family’s wishes, Christy will be cremated.
At this time, no formal service or burial has been planned. The funeral home is assisting with all necessary arrangements.
