Elias played for the Chicago Reapers organization before joining Team Illinois, where he continued to grow as a forward. During the 2025–26 season, he skated for Team Illinois 16U AAA and served as an alternate captain, a role that reflected the trust and respect he earned from teammates and coaches alike.

His development on the ice was matched by impressive performance statistics. During the 2025–26 season, Elias recorded 20 goals and 25 assists for 45 points in 55 games.

The previous season with Team Illinois 15U AAA, he tallied 34 points in 53 games. His dedication and skill also earned him recognition beyond the state level, including selection to the USHL Player Development Combine in 2022.
