Irving, TX, Teen Analise Cuington, Bridge Lacrosse Panther, Has Passed Away

The Bridge Lacrosse community is mourning the loss of Analise Cuington, a former student-athlete who participated in their programs from 2018 to 2020.

Bridge Lacrosse shared the heartbreaking news on their official Facebook page, describing Analise as someone who brought joy and energy to every space she entered.

Her passing has prompted an outpouring of grief from coaches, fellow athletes, and community members who remembered her fondly as a spirited and valued member of the Bridge Panther family.

Analise was known for far more than her athletic involvement. She was a graduate of Uplift Infinity, where she built the foundation for a future she was passionate about. She loved marine biology, carrying a deep curiosity for the natural world and the ocean.

Faith was also central to her life, and she was an active member of her church, where she served and connected with others who shared her values. Those who knew her described her as warm, positive, and full of life, someone who left a mark on everyone she met.

Her passing did not come without a period of hardship for her family. Prior to her death, Analise had been undergoing medical treatment in Atlanta while her family in Irving, Texas, worked to manage the distance and demands that came with her care.

Her parents, Anthony and Mary Cuington, were documented making the long and exhausting journey back and forth between the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Atlanta, with her mother accompanying Analise during treatment and her father tending to the family at home, where her brother Chris was attending school in Irving.

A Community Rallies Together

During that difficult stretch, members of CHRIST Church Irving Women organized a Meal Train to support the Cuington family. The effort called on community members to provide home-cooked meals or gift cards for both the Irving household and the Atlanta family, navigating life away from home.

The Meal Train, organized by Jennifer Takala, drew 35 participants and raised over $1,695 toward a $2,500 goal from 13 donors. The response reflected the depth of care and connection the Cuington family had built in their community over the years.

The Bridge Lacrosse organization released a statement expressing their sorrow directly to the family. They noted that while years had passed since Analise last participated in their programs, she remained a treasured member of their extended family.

The organization expressed its love and condolences to the Cuington family and to all who knew and loved her.

Comments on the post from community members echoed those sentiments. Former teammates, neighbors, and supporters from all corners of Analise’s life stepped forward to offer prayers and condolences.

Kendrick Crawford wrote that his thoughts were with both the Cuington family and the entire Bridge family, while others like Anika Maiden expressed prayers for strength and comfort during such an unimaginable time.

Analise Cuington was young, driven, and beloved. She played lacrosse, pursued science, served her church, and brought light to those around her. Her memory will continue to live in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
