Jimboomba School Under Fire as Bullying Victim Leaves After Months of Harassment

A Flagstone grandmother has taken to social media to expose what she describes as months of relentless bullying against her granddaughter at Flagstone State Community College (FSCC), after she says the school repeatedly failed to act on multiple complaints.

In a post shared to the Flagstone Community Facebook group, the anonymous grandmother named several Year 8 students she claims were involved in the harassment, including Amelia Stewart, Primrose Hang, Kenzie Furner, Emmy, and Reilly Dugan.

The post has since drawn hundreds of reactions from the local community.

A Pattern of Abuse Inside the Classroom

According to the grandmother, the bullying went far beyond name-calling. She described a sustained campaign that included physical threats, students waiting by her granddaughter’s bag after class, barking at her, whispering, laughing, deliberate exclusion, and chasing while screaming.

The most serious allegations involve a student named Reilly, who she claims physically assaulted her granddaughter during class by pulling her hair back, causing her to fall, kicking her repeatedly, leaving bruises, and pushing her off her chair, causing her to hit her head. She says all of this happened while a teacher was present and did nothing.

The grandmother says her granddaughter submitted multiple incident reports against Reilly but the school’s only response was to have a chat with those involved, which she claims made the situation worse and led to more students joining in the bullying.

She was also told by the school that her granddaughter was not the only student being targeted by this group.

The matter has also been referred to Jimboomba police after a fake social media account was created impersonating her granddaughter to contact other students.

In a particularly alarming incident, the grandmother says her granddaughter was tricked into returning to school, where a student named Primrose had allegedly arranged for someone to physically assault her.

Her granddaughter is now studying from home and is on the waiting list for two new schools, too frightened to return to FSCC.

Community Outrage Grows Online

The post triggered an outpouring of anger from the Flagstone community, with many calling for stronger action from both the school and authorities.

Joanne Inglis wrote,

“It’s about time someone named and shamed these kids. The courts couldn’t do it because it protects their identity. Good luck with your granddaughter, I hope she succeeds in every way.”

UnderstandingCherry7058 said,

“This child physically assaulted your granddaughter more than once. Report to the education department and file a restraining order. I hope these parents are seriously disgusted with themselves and their children.”

ElegantQuince1946, who identified as a registered health professional, added a sobering warning:

“This is why children sometimes take their own lives. It reminds me of Dolly. Always take them seriously if they speak about harming themselves.”

SoftKiwi3740, who claimed to be a teacher, acknowledged the systemic problem, saying,

“Nothing gets done these days because parents complain when their precious little child is getting in trouble. It is a vicious circle.”

The grandmother ended her post with a plea to parents to speak with their children, saying she did not want another family to go through what hers had experienced. FSCC has not yet made any public comment on the matter.
