Louisville, KY Account Manager Adam Becht Dies at 45, Mourned by Business Community and Family

Family, friends, colleagues, and members of Kentucky’s trucking and business communities are mourning the loss of Adam Richard Becht, a beloved account manager and sales professional from Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 8, 2026. He was 45 years old.

Born on May 22, 1981, Adam grew up in Louisville and built a life defined by hard work, genuine connection, and an extraordinary devotion to the people around him.

Those who knew him describe a man who never met a stranger, who could light up any room, and who measured his success not in deals closed but in relationships built.

Adam was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and the University of Louisville. He went on to build a respected career in sales, earning a reputation throughout Louisville’s business and trucking communities as someone you could count on.

Colleagues remembered him not only for his professional dedication but for the warmth and humor he brought to every interaction. He volunteered his time generously, coached young athletes, and was always the first to offer help when someone needed it.

But nothing defined Adam more than his role as a father. His three children, Lyla, Gavin, and Walker, were everything to him. Friends and family say he talked about his kids every chance he got.

Whether he was on the sidelines cheering at a game, helping with homework at the kitchen table, or simply spending an afternoon together, those were the moments Adam cherished most. He wore fatherhood with a pride that was visible to everyone who spent time around him.

Adam is survived by his spouse, Brittany Becht, and their children Lyla, Gavin, and Walker. He is also survived by his parents, Mary Rebecca and Darrell Becht; his sister, Katie Cropper; and his brothers Michael, Nathan, and Andrew Becht, along with their families.

He was preceded in death by his son, Cooper Becht, and his grandparents, Helen and Elmer Bauer, and Jean and Bill Becht.

Beyond his immediate family, Adam leaves behind a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who filled his world with meaning. Those who knew him say he was a superb brother, a devoted uncle, and a loyal friend in every sense of the word. His passing has left a void that cannot easily be filled.

The outpouring of condolences on his memorial page reflects the breadth of lives he touched. Messages from former classmates, neighbors, business associates, and community members have poured in, each one carrying a story of Adam’s generosity, humor, and heart.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home, located at 3800 Bardstown Road in Louisville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Drive, Louisville. He will be laid to rest at St. Michael Cemetery.

Adam Becht was 45 years old. He is gone far too soon, but the love he gave so freely will endure in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to have known him.
