Authorities in Marion, Indiana, have confirmed they are actively investigating a juvenile incident after a video circulating on social media drew widespread attention and concern from the community.
The Marion Police Department (MPD) stated that the matter involves a group of juveniles allegedly involved in both verbal and physical altercations with another juvenile.
Officials emphasized that the case is being handled through the appropriate juvenile justice process.
According to MPD, the department became aware of the incident after the video began spreading online. In response, investigators moved quickly to identify those involved.
Police confirmed that the juveniles have now been identified and that the case has been formally submitted for review within the juvenile justice system.
The department is also working closely with Grant County Juvenile Probation as the case continues to move forward.
Law enforcement officials noted that due to the involvement of minors, the video itself will not be shared publicly.
