Miramar, FL, Influencer Brianna Johnson, 21, Killed in Lamborghini Drive-By Shooting

A 21-year-old social media personality from South Florida was killed early Sunday morning after gunfire erupted during a drive-by shooting in Miramar, according to police and family members.

Brianna Johnson, known online as “Dreamdoll Brii” and “itgirlbri,” had built a following of nearly half a million people across her social platforms before her death. She was riding in a lime green Lamborghini Urus with two men when the attack occurred just after 5:30 a.m. on July 5.

What Happened During the Attack

Miramar police said officers were called to the area near Southwest 27th Court and Sunshine Boulevard after multiple ShotSpotter alerts went off. Investigators believe the Lamborghini was heading west toward Sunshine Boulevard when it approached an intersection. That’s when a white sedan reportedly pulled up alongside the driver’s side and opened fire on all three occupants.

Surveillance footage reviewed by investigators appears to show the vehicle drifting through the intersection immediately after the shooting before crashing into a nearby house.

Johnson died from her injuries, while the two men with her were taken to Miramar Regional Hospital in critical condition. Their identities have not been made public.

Because the shooting happened during the Fourth of July holiday weekend, several neighbors initially mistook the gunfire for fireworks. It wasn’t until they stepped outside that they realized what had actually taken place. One resident told reporters he found the incident unsettling, especially given the timing so close to a major national holiday meant to bring people together.

Tributes Pour in Online

News of Johnson’s death spread quickly across social media, with fans and followers flooding her TikTok and Instagram accounts with messages of grief and support. Many described her as a bright presence online and expressed shock that her life was cut short in such violent circumstances.

Police have not released information about a suspect or a possible motive as of Monday evening. The investigation remains active, and detectives are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Tips can be submitted to the Miramar Police Department’s Homicide Tip Line or through Broward Crime Stoppers, both of which allow callers to remain anonymous.

The shooting adds to a string of violent incidents reported across Florida over the holiday weekend, though authorities have not linked this case to any other recent crimes in the area. As the investigation continues, community members are calling for answers and for the person responsible to be held accountable.
