The Mukwonago community is mourning the loss of Dylan Fuller, a young man who died in a motorcycle accident.
His mother, Shannon Fuller, shared the heartbreaking news on social media, where an outpouring of condolences from friends and community members quickly followed.
“As many of you already know, we lost our son Dylan Fuller yesterday in a horrific motorcycle accident,” Shannon wrote in her post, which was shared alongside her husband Virgil Fuller.
The news sent shockwaves through those who knew Dylan. Comments flooded in from friends and acquaintances expressing their grief and disbelief.
“Omg, how sorry I am for you both. Prayers for your family, loved this young man,” wrote Chris Forma. Carolyn Mattox added, “Oh my Shannon and Virgil, we are so sorry to hear about Dylan. Our most sincere sympathies to you and Virgil and the family.”
Dylan’s passing leaves behind a family and a community that clearly cared deeply for him. The warmth expressed in every comment reflects the kind of person he was and the lives he touched during his time here.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 18, at Mukwonago Baptist Church. Visitation is scheduled from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.
Following the service, Dylan will be laid to rest at a cemetery located just up the street from the church. A lunch will be held afterward for those wishing to gather, share memories, and support the Fuller family during this incredibly difficult time.
Shannon extended an open invitation to anyone who wishes to pay their respects. The family welcomes the presence of all who knew and loved Dylan, whether closely or in passing.
Mukwonago Baptist Church has long served as a gathering place for the community, and it will once again serve that role as friends, family, and neighbors come together to say goodbye to a young man taken far too soon.
Motorcycle accidents remain one of the leading causes of traumatic and fatal injuries on roads across Wisconsin and the country. Each loss is a reminder of how quickly life can change and how important it is to hold those we love a little closer.
For the Fuller family, no words can ease the weight of losing a child. The grief of a parent is unlike any other, and Shannon and Virgil are facing the unimaginable.
Yet the love pouring in from their community speaks to the life Dylan lived and the family that raised him.
Those who plan to attend the services are asked to arrive at Mukwonago Baptist Church on Monday, May 18. The family welcomes all who wish to come and celebrate the life of Dylan Fuller.
Our thoughts remain with Shannon, Virgil, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing Dylan. May he rest in peace.
