A Lifetime of Healing Hands in Cicero
For more than 40 years, Dr. Weiss dedicated his professional life to caring for patients at his chiropractic practice in Cicero, Illinois. To the many patients who walked through his doors, he was far more than a chiropractor.
He was a listener, a mentor, and a familiar face who made them feel seen and valued. Tributes pouring in from the community reflect the depth of his impact.
One patient shared that thanks to Dr. Weiss, she was finally able to overcome chronic back pain that had long affected her quality of life.
Others recalled how their appointments felt like visits with an old friend, full of warmth and genuine conversation. He was known for remembering the small details of people’s lives and for treating every patient with the same level of care and dignity, regardless of who they were.
Beyond his practice, Dr. Weiss was known as a mentor and friend to many in his field and in his wider community.
He had a rare ability to bring people together, maintaining bonds across decades and keeping longtime friendships alive with consistent effort and heart.

Dr. Weiss leaves behind a family that clearly adored him. He is survived by his loving wife Joan, née Crowley, and their children Max, who is engaged to Allie, Sam and his wife Maggie, and Michael Perch. He was also a proud grandfather to Melanie Weiss.
