A final acceptance of condolences will be held on Sunday, June 7, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., again at the Shelby Banquet Center on Van Dyke Avenue.

The family closed his obituary with the Lord’s Prayer, a testament to the faith that guides them through grief and toward hope.

“With faith in the promise of eternal life, we celebrate the life of Omar Karana,” the obituary reads, a phrase that speaks to both the sorrow of sudden loss and the spiritual foundation that sustains those he leaves behind.

Omar Karana was 29 years old. He is survived by his wife, two young sons, his parents, and a devoted family that will carry his memory forward. The community is encouraged to attend services and offer condolences to the family in the days ahead.
