A 58-year-old Brewer woman lost her life Saturday afternoon after her vehicle left Interstate 95 in Newburgh and rolled over multiple times, according to Maine State Police. Troopers were called to the scene at approximately 1:30 p.m. near mile marker 174, just north of the Exit 174 on-ramp.
According to investigators, Geiser was traveling northbound in the passing lane when her vehicle departed the roadway and rolled over several times. Emergency responders had to work to extricate her from the vehicle after she became trapped inside. Despite their efforts, Geiser was pronounced dead at the scene.
