GoFundMe Launched for Brooklyn Vincil’s Family as Community Pours Out Love and Support

The Lenoir City, Tennessee, community is coming together to support the Vincil family after the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of Brooklyn Vincil, a young woman described by those who loved her as a beautiful light who brought joy, laughter, and warmth to everyone around her.

Brooklyn’s passing has left her family and friends devastated. Her sisters, Madison Wright and Amanda Welch, both took to social media to share the news and ask for support during what they described as one of the most painful moments of their lives.

“With an incredibly heavy heart I share the loss of my baby sister Brooklyn Vincil,” Amanda wrote. “She was a beautiful light in this world taken too soon.”

Madison, who organized a GoFundMe fundraiser on behalf of the family, echoed that heartbreak.

“I never imagined I would have to write something like this,” she shared. “Our family is completely heartbroken. She brought so much light, love, and laughter into our lives, and the pain of losing her feels impossible to put into words.”

The family is now focused on laying Brooklyn to rest with the dignity and love she deserves while navigating the overwhelming grief that comes with such a sudden loss.

Funeral expenses have placed an additional burden on the family during an already unimaginable time, prompting loved ones to step up and help however they can.

Within hours of the fundraiser going live, the community responded with an outpouring of generosity.

More than 51 donors contributed to the campaign, pushing it to 85 percent of its $3,000 goal, with individual donations ranging from $25 to $500. The response reflects just how deeply Brooklyn was loved and how wide her circle of people truly was.

Despite the weight of their grief, the Vincil family has leaned on their faith to carry them through. Madison shared that the family takes comfort in believing Brooklyn is now at peace in Heaven, wrapped in the love of Jesus and watching over all of those she left behind.

“We are holding onto our faith and trusting that God is carrying us when we don’t feel strong enough to stand on our own,” Madison wrote.

For those who wish to contribute toward funeral expenses, donations can be made directly through the GoFundMe page titled “Donations for the Family of Brooklyn Vincil.”

Contributions can also be made through Click Funeral Home, located at 109 S. Walnut Street in Lenoir City, Tennessee. The funeral home can be reached by phone for those who prefer to give that way.

For those who are unable to donate financially, the family is asking for prayers and for people to share the fundraiser so it can reach as many people as possible.

As Madison put it, “Every prayer, kind word, and act of support means more than we could ever explain.”

Brooklyn Vincil may be gone too soon, but the love being shown by her community makes it clear that her memory will not fade quietly. She touched lives, and those lives are now coming together to honor her in the most meaningful way they know how.
